Feminizmuzerine, a Turkish blog

Feminizmuzerine  is the blog of a group of students from the Department of Western Languages and Literatures, Boğaziçi University. The aim of the blog is to translate international articles about feminism to Turkish in order to share, spread, open debate, bring ideas but they also translate Turkish articles to english in oder to allow the international audience to have insights about the Turkish society and the Turkish women's movement.

From their blog "Feminism, when it was started, aimed at making people see that women are not less talented, strong, enduring than men. At that time, women wanted men not to be privileged, but to have the same rights as women themselves, which is “wanting equal rights.” We can, living in a third world country, certainly say that women still don’t have the right they have been fighting for."

They recently translated to Turkish the article by Francesca Bettio from our editorial board "What is good for growth is good for women"
