Ineke Klinge è pofessore associato di Medicina di Genere presso la Maastricht University. Ha unito la sua formazione nel campo della scienza biomedica (specializzazione in Immunologia) con la ricerca di genere. Ha pubblicato diversi libri e articoli sull’osteoporosi, il corpo femminile, la medicalizzazione, la menopausa e più recentemente su metodologie di ricerca di sesso e genere nelle scienze della vita e nella ricerca sanitaria. Durante il semestre invernale 2008-2009 è stata nominata Maria-Goeppert-Mayer guest professor in Medicina di Genere presso la Georg-August-University di Göttingen in Germania.
Ineke Klinge is associat professor in gender medicine at the Maastricht University. Specialized in immunology, she has joined her trainign in biomedicine with gender studies. She published widely on osteoporosis, the female body, medicalization, menopause, gender & health and gender sensitive research methodologies in life sciences and health research. In 2008/2009 she held a Maria-Goeppert-Mayer visiting professorship in Sex and Gender in Biomedicine at Göttingen Georg-August-University, Germany.
