Londa Schiebinger

Londa Schiebinger è professoressa di Storia della Scienza presso la Stanford University e direttore del progetto EU/US Gendered Innovations in Science, Medicine, and Engineering. È considerata un’autorità internazionale sulle questioni di genere nella scienza e nella tecnologia e ha affrontato queste tematiche per le Nazioni Unite nel 2011. È autrice di numerosi libri tra cui The Mind Has No Sex? Women in the Origins of Modern Science; Nature's Body: Gender in the Making of Modern Science e Gendered Innovations in Science and Engineering.

 

Londa Schiebinger is professor of History of Science at Stanford University and Director of the EU/US Gendered Innovations in Science, Medicine, and Engineering Project. She’s one of the most important researcher specialized on gender issues in science and in tecnology. She has authored The Mind Has No Sex? Women in the Origins of Modern Science; Nature's Body: Gender in the Making of Modern Science e Gendered Innovations in Science and Engineering.
