Francesca Molfino

Psicoanalista freudiana. Dal 1974 ha fatto parte del movimento femminista, ha fondato con altre il Centro culturale Virginia Woolf (Università delle donne), ha lavorato con le donne nei centri antiviolenza. Insieme ad altre nel 2004 ha costituito l’associazione Donne e scienza. È autrice di numerosi saggi sui temi dell’identità femminile e sul rapporto tra psicoanalisi, femminismo e cultura.

E' morta l'8 aprile 2013.

Psycologist, she worked in Rome with adult patients. She was in the italian feminist mouvement since 1974 and she fuounded the Virginia Woolf cultural group. She also worked to defeat violence against women, and in 2004 she founded the association Women and science. She wrote many essays on female identity and on the connection between psychoanalysis, feminism and culture.
