Professor of Demography at Sapienza University of Rome, Faculty of Economics. She is the holder of the UNESCO Chair in “Population, Migrations and Development” and co-Editor of Genus – Journal of Population sciences. Her main research interests lie in the field of fertility and reproductive behavior, partnership formation and union dissolution, gender studies, relationship between population dynamics and environment.
