Senior research fellow at the Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Tampere. Her research interests include the philosophy of technology, the phenomenology of the body and social epistemology. She has published over 50 peer-reviewed articles and papers as well as several textbooks. Her current research deals with ethical and social issues on service robots in eldercare.
